I came upon Henry on Facebook when I was literally at the end of my tether with my 1 year old, ball of energy, cavapoo Buddy.
I had already used 2 dog trainers and bought an online course and was hesitant about spending money on another but my god working with Henry is the best thing we ever did. If you are on the fence wondering whether Henry is worth it - Do it!! We had an hour long zoom call with Henry which I was very unsure about but Henry listened and chatted through our plan of action.
The difference in a month is UNBELIEVABLE. Henry is a literal saint and we are so so grateful. This is not a one scheme fits all method-we went back and forth for a while to see what worked best. Henry’s aftercare, kindness and patience is second to none.
There are not enough adjectives to describe Henry’s fantastic service - the best money I have spent and Buddy definitely gives his bark of approval also! Thank you again Henry

Hello! Welcome to
Topdog Training
Hi, I’m Henry and I’ve been training dogs for over 40 years. I provide veterinarian recommended obedience training & behaviour modification.
Have you had your dog “Trained” either online or in person before? Owners contact me each day saying they have tried training before that made little to no difference. I will show you how to achieve, quick, results that last a lifetime (See My Genuine Reviews Below)
I am happy to address any specific needs you may have. I have experience working online and in person with a wide range of puppies and older dogs helping to address obedience and behaviour issues.
The earlier you start to train your dog the better, but it is never too late, the saying” it’s like trying to teach an old dog new tricks” is just that, a saying. Once your dog is fit and healthy, they can be trained.
Guaranteed Results & Lifetime Support. After our 1-hour online training session, you will have Free Unlimited Support & Training For The Lifetime Of Your Dog. We Will Always Be Here To Help You Should You Need Us (See below for more details)

Henry helped us deal with our 3 month old Golden Retriever pup. Almost immediately, she had a healthy amount of respect for him. Henry is very knowledgeable in his field.
After the the session, our Angie was like a completely different dog. She now has no problems with recall, she has improved greatly when walking on a leash, and she doesn't get crazy excited around our cat anymore.
We are so happy with what Henry managed to do and highly recommend him to any and all dog owners.

Benefits of Online
Dog Training
Online training has many benefits over traditional in-person training, especially for many behavioural issues and puppy training. Some of the benefits include:
- Work with one of the worlds best dog trainers & behaviourist no matter where you live.
- Flexible training schedule to fit your needs.
- Lower cost for you.
- Fewer distractions for your dog, plus they will be in a familiar environment with familiar people.
Is Online Dog Training as Effective
as In-Person Training?
Yes! I have found online training to be as effective as in-person training.
You’ll receive the exact same guidance and instruction as my in-person programs, with the primary difference being that you will be the one handling your dog for the duration of training. And that alone can be extremely helpful to build your confidence and provide fast results at home.

I contacted Henry as we were having issues with our beautiful 14mth German Shepherd Lola being very anxious and reactive towards other dogs when out and about, and it was becoming very stressful.
Today, after only one session last week and lots of advice we walked around a new urban area meeting several dogs. Lola walked past calmly without any issues. Henry immediately broke the habit firmly and with lots of praise and encouragement .
Lola is so so much happier and relaxed now thanks to Henry’s wonderful advice and help. I have had follow up messages from Henry of encouragement and support since the one on one session and I know Henry will be there should we need him in the future. Cannot recommend highly enough. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We would highly recommend Top Dog Training. Henry gave us simple yet highly effective solutions to any issues we had with Lola. He instilled confidence in us on how to deal with her behavior. Yes, we needed the training as much as Lola.
It hasn't even been a week and she is loose lead walking and her recall has much improved. The fact I can contact Henry anytime with questions is invaluable.
My advice to anyone even thinking of contacting Henry, don't delay its money well spent. You and your dog get trained. We now have a confident dog with confident owners. Thank You Henry

Absolutely delighted with Henry and top dog training. From the get go, Henry was really calm and collected with our excitable puppy and taught us some excellent training techniques.
What I thought was a great touch was that he offered us solutions that worked for us and our circumstance (apartment living) as opposed to a one size fits all approach. Overall a happy client and a happy puppy!
