I came upon Henry on Facebook when I was literally at the end of my tether with my 1 year old, ball of energy, cavapoo Buddy. I had already used 2 dog trainers and bought an online course and was hesitant about spending money on another but my god working with Henry is the best thing we ever did. If you are on the fence wondering whether Henry is worth it - Do it!! We had an hour long zoom call with Henry which I was very unsure about but Henry listened and chatted through our plan of action. Henry helped us deal with our 3 month old Golden Retriever pup. Almost immediately, she had a healthy amount of respect for him. Henry is very knowledgeable in his field. After the the session, our Angie was like a completely different dog. She now has no problems with recall, she has improved greatly when walking on a leash, and she doesn't get crazy excited around our cat anymore. I contacted Henry as we were having issues with our beautiful 14mth German Shepherd Lola being very anxious and reactive towards other dogs when out and about, and it was becoming very stressful. Today, after only one session last week and lots of advice we walked around a new urban area meeting several dogs. Lola walked past calmly without any issues. Henry immediately broke the habit firmly and with lots of praise and encouragement . Lola is so so much happier and relaxed now thanks to Henry’s wonderful advice and help. I have had follow up messages from Henry of encouragement and support since the one on one session and I know Henry will be there should we need him in the future. We would highly recommend Top Dog Training. Henry gave us simple yet highly effective solutions to any issues we had with Lola. He instilled confidence in us on how to deal with her behavior. Yes, we needed the training as much as Lola. It hasn't even been a week and she is loose lead walking and her recall has much improved.
